The accommodation is based in Puntalon which is 3kms east from Motril on the Costa Tropical de Granada. Cortijo Nuevo is a traditional country house set in an agricultural area. Divided into three private living areas; the original Cortijo is used by the owner; Casa Pequeña is a charming one bedroom cottage and El apartamento is modern, light and airy.

All the above are set in mature sub-tropical gardens which surround the Cortijo. The garden is private and relaxing with sea and mountain views from the roof terraces.

The stunning gardens are fully landscaped and maintained with care by the owner. There are many patios and seating areas, both sunny and shady. Choose where to sit for 'al fresco' dining or just chilling out with a glass of wine after a busy day exploring Andalucia. You can even play a game of giant draughts!

There are mature gardens with palms and various fruit trees, flowering shrubs, a restful fountain, BBQ area as well as the recently added swimming pool with sun deck area. The gardens can be illuminated at night and enjoyed into the early hours, stars always seem to be visible. Feel free to help yourself to citrus fruits, avocados and chirimoyas when in season.

There is also a shady vine covered car parking area.
